The Titusville Police Explorers is a
group of young men and women between the ages of 14 and
21 who are interested in learning more about Law
Enforcement. These inspiring young adults give their
time in support of the community and self-development.
The Titusville Explorers are one of many programs
facilitated by the Titusville Police Athletic League.
The Titusville Police Explorers serve their community by
assisting with traffic control at community events,
educating children through public service speeches and
McGruff appearances, and protecting children through the
KIDS program.
The Titusville Police Explorers also
train diligently to compete in the Florida Association
of Police Explorers Annual Statewide Competition. They
receive extensive training in Crime Scene Processing,
response to Crisis Situations, how to conduct traffic
stops, and crash investigations, efficient first
responders first aid, traffic control, and other
subjects. After retiring from the program, many
Explorers choose to use the training they received to
serve their community as Law Enforcement Officers.
